Terms of use

1. What Swap-Pam is
Swap-Pam is a marketplace where members list gadgets and arrange swaps, cash top-ups and sales with each other. We are not a party to the deals. We do not own, inspect, store or ship the items listed.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 18, or have a parent or guardian agree to these terms for you.
- Use your real name and keep your contact details current. One person, one account.
- You are responsible for everything done with your account. Tell us straight away at malum.herman@gmail.com if you think someone else has used it.
3. Listing gadgets
- Only list items you own and have the right to swap or sell. No stolen, counterfeit, blacklisted or financed devices.
- Describe the condition honestly, including faults and repairs, and use your own photos.
- We may hold a listing for review, edit its category, or remove it if it breaks these terms.
4. Offers and swaps
- An accepted offer is an agreement between the two members. Turn up, or cancel in the chat in good time.
- The confirmation code exists to show a handover happened. Only enter the other person's half once you have the gadget and are happy with it.
- When a swap is confirmed a platform fee applies, shown on the deal page before you accept.
5. Stores
Business accounts must pass our checks and keep their business details accurate. A store is responsible for any warranty or returns policy it offers.
6. Things you must not do
- Ask for payment before a meeting, or try to move a deal off the platform to avoid the fee.
- Harass, threaten or mislead other members.
- Scrape the site, create fake accounts, or try to get around our security.
7. Moderation
We may warn, suspend or close accounts that break these terms, and we may read deal chats when a deal is reported. We will tell you why unless the law or safety stops us.
8. Liability
We work hard to keep the marketplace honest, but we cannot guarantee any member or item. To the extent the law allows, Swap-Pam is not liable for losses arising from a deal between members. Nothing here limits rights you have under Cameroonian consumer law that cannot be excluded.
9. Changes
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will post the new version here and let you know in the app before it applies.
