Privacy
Last updated 3 November 2026. What we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.
What we collect
- Account details: name, username, email, and optionally your phone number and city.
- Listings and deals: the gadgets you list, photos, offers you send and receive, and messages in deal chats.
- Store checks: for business accounts, the documents you upload so we can verify the business. These are never shown publicly.
- Technical data: IP address and browser type at sign-in, used to spot account takeovers and abuse.
Photos
When you upload a photo we re-save it on our server, which removes hidden location data that phones attach to pictures.
Who sees what
- Your profile, listings and reviews are public.
- Messages are visible to the two people in the chat. Moderators can read a chat when a deal or message is reported.
- Your email and phone number are not shown on your profile. You choose whether to share them in a chat.
- We do not sell your data and we do not run third-party advertising trackers.
Cookies
One cookie keeps you signed in. Your light or dark mode choice is stored in your browser. That is all.
How long we keep it
While your account is open. If you close it, your profile and listings are removed straight away; deal records and chats are kept for up to 12 months in case of a dispute, then deleted.
Your choices
You can edit your details in Settings and close your account at any time. To get a copy of your data or ask us to correct or delete it, email malum.herman@gmail.com.
